The accident happened near Helfin on US highway 371 at around 6 a.m.
Paul Born, 57, was the driver of a 2023 Chevrolet Camaro that was traveling quickly north on US Highway 371.

Born left the road and collided with a cliff and hit a tree.
Born was taken to Minden Medical Center for injuries and he was declared dead later.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
