57-year-old Nancy Kim-Lindstrom dead after being hit by a truck in Cobb County (Marietta, GA)

Officials identified 57-year-old Nancy Kim-Lindstrom, from Marietta, as the woman who lost her life after getting struck by a pick-up truck Monday night in Cobb County.

The fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place on Sandy Plains Road. According to the investigation reports, a red Ford Ranger was traveling south when it struck Nancy Kim-Lindstrom while she was walking her dog.

The woman and her dog both died after the accident. The 53-year-old driver of the Ford remained unharmed in the crash and remained at the scene. It is unknown if the driver will face charges. No other details are made available.

The incident remains under investigation.
