Ventura County authorities state that a fatal motorcycle accident took place in Thousand Oaks on Thursday night. The incident prompted the closure of a section of Lynn Road.
Authorities added that reported the single-vehicle crash around 7:07 p.m., on Lynn Road, south of its intersection with Camino Manzanas.
The rider involved, a 56-year-old resident of Thousand Oaks, was transported to Los Robles Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.
It remains unclear whether factors such as impairment played a role in the fatal accident, and the cause of the incident also remains unclear. Additional information is awaited. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
