According to the California Highway Patrol, a 56-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Placer County on Saturday.
Approximately at 7:45 p.m., a motorcyclist riding his 2005 Harley Davidson on Bell Road, for unknown reasons, lost control of the vehicle and swerved off the road. As a result, the motorcyclist was thrown off the vehicle. He was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
