According to the Louisiana State Police, a motor vehicle crash that took place in Slidell killed a man on Saturday.

At around 11:00 a.m., 56-year-old Alfred Robair, driving a Nissan pick-up truck westbound on I-10, was struck by a Chevrolet Trailblazer. As a result, Robair was thrown out of the vehicle and was struck by unknown vehicles. He was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
