55-year-old Thelma Vargas and another person hospitalized following a traffic collision in Quincy (Quincy, WA)

Officials identified 55-year-old Thelma Vargas, of Quincy, who received injuries following a traffic collision Monday in Quincy that injured another person.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place on Highway 28. The early reports showed that a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 74-year-old Randall Jimmerson, of Quincy, collided with the 2015 Ford Expedition that was driven by Vargas.

On arrival, first responders took Thelma Vargas and the passenger to Quincy Valley Medical Center with non-critical injuries. Jimmerson remained unharmed in the accident. The casue of the crash remains unknown at this time. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
