55-Year-Old Man Killed In A Pedestrian Crash In Macon (Macon, GA)

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office responded to a pedestrian crash that claimed a life. The crash happened on Eisenhower Parkway Friday night at 9 p.m.

According to the deputies, a 55-year-old pedestrian was trying to cross near Houston Avenue when he was hit by a car driven by a 30-year-old man.

Reports say the car driver saw the pedestrian step into his lane and tried to avoid the man but failed. 

The pedestrian was pronounced dead by the Coroner, Ronnie Miley. The crash is under investigation.
