The Nevada State Police reported a rollover crash on Tuesday.
The accident occurred on Interstate 1, on the Boulder City parkway offramp.
According to the officials, a tractor-trailer had overturned.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as 55-year-old Harry R. Sawyer, incurred major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no other occupants in the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The cause of the fatal accident is still being investigated.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident
