A tragic one-vehicle fatality crash claimed the life of 54-year-old Barbra Jackson from Shelbyville in east Texas on the morning of January 15. The motor vehicle accident occurred on Farm-to-Market Road 2694 in Shelby County around 8:10 a.m.
According to Texas authorities, the preliminary investigation suggests that a 2020 Jeep SUV traveling westbound at a high speed slid across the eastbound lane, left the roadway, and struck two trees. A witness removed the driver from the vehicle before it caught fire and burned.
Shelby County Justice of the Peace Marla Denby pronounced Barbra Jackson dead at the scene as she was fatally injured. The fatal crash is currently under investigation, with no additional information available at this time.
