On Monday, 53-year-old Teena Zachary, from Kennesaw, suffered serious injuries following a traffic collision in Marietta.
As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the area of North Marietta Parkway near the intersection with Interstate 75 at about 5:30 a.m. after getting reports of a two-vehicle accident. The early reports revealed that the woman was traveling east on North Marietta Parkway when she ran a red light and crashed into a 2011 Nissan van.
On arrival, emergency personnel rushed Teena Zachary to WellStar Kennestone Hospital with serious injuries. No other details have been provided by the officials.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
