The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office reported a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday.
The accident occurred on Napier Avenue near Del Park.
According to the officials, a 53-year-old man was hit by a Ford Focus when he fell from the road and into traffic.
The man, identified as Roosevelt King Jr., was critically injured in the accident and was rushed to the hospital.
The driver of the Ford, identified as a 35-year-old woman, was not injured in the collision.
Her identity has not been disclosed.
The accident is still being investigated.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
There are no other details available at this time.
