The authorities reported a motor vehicle collision in Indio that killed a 53-year-old man on Tuesday. The officials later identified the victim as Martin Gutierrez. The accident occurred near the Golf Center Parkway, Fantasy Springs Resort, and Casino.
At around 9:45 p.m., 53-year-old Martin Gutierrez, driving a white Saturn Sedan, was involved in a head-on collision with a white GMC pickup truck. Martin Gutierrez was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The officials have not disclosed any details regarding the other people involved in the crash. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. There are no other details available at this time.
