According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident occurred in Ventura County on Saturday. The crash happened on Harbor Boulevard at around 5:24 a.m.
According to the investigators, a silver 2021 Toyota Camry and a 53-year-old were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the unknown driver was traveling southbound, left the road, and collided with a power pole.
A 53-year-old was identified as the Toyota driver who suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Ventura County Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
