According to the Fremont Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Monday night in Fremont. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident. Authorities stated that the collision occurred at the intersection of Nile Boulevard and Hillview Drive.
Two vehicles collided with each other and thereby resulted in the wreck. The 53-year-old driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the other vehicle was a 19-year-old who sustained injuries due to the collision.
Other details including the identities of the victims and the descriptions of the vehicles involved remain unknown.
The cause of the accident is yet to be determined. The crash continues to be investigated by the FPD.
