According to the Arizona Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Sunday in Payson. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred near milepost 247. The deceased person was identified as 53-Year-Old Donald Hill. Hill was heading southbound when he veered off the west side and went up a milepost.
As a result of this, Hill sustained injuries and was rushed to Scottsdale Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The cause of the accident remains unknown.
The crash continues to be investigated by the APD. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
