53-Year-Old Christina Rubio Killed In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA)

According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle rollover crash took place in Bakersfield on Wednesday. The accident claimed the life of a 53-year-old woman, identified as Christina Rubio.

At around 9:30 p.m., a 39-year-old driving a 2002 Ford South on Sequoia Drive, took an unsafe turn. The vehicle then struck a concrete curb and the vehicle flipped over. 

The passenger of the vehicle,  53-year-old Christina Rubio, was thrown off the vehicle due to the force of the collision. She was fatally injured and was pronounced dead. The driver suffered minor injuries.

It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
