53-year-old Chris Wolf died after a two-vehicle accident on the city’s West Side (San Antonio, TX)

Authorities identified 53-year-old Chris Wolf as the man who died following a two-vehicle accident Tuesday morning on the city’s West Side.

The fatal car accident took place at around 10:15 a.m. along S. General McMullen Drive and Ceralvo Street. The preliminary reports revealed that a Ford Focus driven by Wolf was heading southbound on Gen. McMullen. At some point of time, Wolf attempted to turn left onto Ceralvo but ended up colliding with a pickup that was going northbound.

Wolf was thrown from his car due to the impact. He sustained major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the officials. Wolf, who was sole occupant of the car, was not buckled up at the time of the collision. The driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
