According to the San Diego Police Department, a pedestrian crash that took place in San Diego claimed the life of a 52-year-old woman on Sunday.

Roughly at 5:00 p.m., a 2020 Honda Pilot travelling northbound on Home Avenue, struck a 52-year-old woman at the intersection with the gateway drive. The woman was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scenemoment. 

The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
