52-year-old Rolland Whitt Jr. died in fatal motorcycle crash in North Dallas (Dallas, TX)

A 52-year-old Rolland Whitt Jr. killed following a deadly motorcycle crash in North Dallas early Sunday morning.

As per the Dallas Police Department, the incident happened when the motorcyclist, 52-year-old Rolland Whitt Jr., was going southbound near 17700 Vail Street at around 1:38 a.m.

Police said Whitt could not manage a curve in the road, causing his motorcycle to drift off the roadway.

Subsequently, he hit the curb and lost balance of the motorcycle before coming to rest in an apartment complex driveway.

Medics admitted Whitt to an area hospital. However, several hours later, he succumbed to the injuries sustained in the crash.
