52-Year-Old Richard Cortez Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Sacramento (Sacramento, AZ)

The Sacramento Police Department reported a hit-and-run crash on Sunday morning. The accident happened on Franklin Boulevard between 26th and 27th Avenue at around 6 a.m.

According to the Police, 52-Year-Old Richard Cortez was driving and struck another vehicle on Franklin Blvd close to Sacramento’s North City Farms. 

Police confirmed that Cortez was pronounced dead at the scene. The responsible driver fled away from the scene. 

It is unsure what caused the crash and how it happened. Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found. 

The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials. Additional details regarding the crash are not available currently.
