According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a fatal crash was reported on Sunday in Hubbard. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on SH-31. The driver of a Ford E350 was traveling eastbound when he lost control of his vehicle. As a result of this, the vehicle left the roadway and overturned.
The passenger riding in the front was identified as 52-year-old Jennie Frasier. Frasier was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The driver and five other passengers were rushed to a nearby hospital sustaining injuries.
The cause of the collision is yet to be determined. The crash continues to be investigated by the TDPS.
