The Phoenix Police Department reported a two-vehicle crash on Saturday night. The accident happened close to Bell roads and Cave Creek.
The crash involved 52-year-old Jay Dilf who was traveling north on Cave Creek Road when a car turned into the road from a private drive in front of him. Dilf incurred fatal injuries in the accident and was rushed to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The driver, according to the police, did not exhibit any signs of intoxication and was let go. Their identity is not known at this time.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. Further details regarding the crash are not available currently.
