52-Year-Old James Appleton Killed In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Marietta (Marietta, GA)

The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Marietta on Sunday.

The accident happened on Interstate 75 at around 3 a.m.

James Appleton, 52, of Marietta was operating his 2016 Dodge Challenger.

He reportedly lost control, veered across all lanes, and struck the wall in the center of the median head-on.

Appleton was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Kennesaw but passed away there, according to the police.

It is unsure how the crash happened and what caused the crash.

The crash is being investigated by the police.

It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the fatal accident
