According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a fatal crash was reported on Tuesday in Lampasas.
Officials confirmed that one person died due to the accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred near County Road 1268.
The driver of a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee left the lane, hit a culvert, and rolled over multiple times.
The driver of the Cherokee was identified as 52-year-old Eula Whitner.
Whitner sustained serious injuries and was immediately rushed to Darnell Army Hospital.
She later succumbed to her injuries in the hospital.
The cause of the accident remains unknown.
The crash continues to be under the purview of the Texas Police.
