The Los Angeles Police Department reported a deadly pedestrian accident that killed a 52-year-old woman. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the woman as Angelica Lucero Perez.
On Friday roughly at 9:55 p.m., a White Sedan was travelling west on Venice Boulevard, at the intersection of Seventh Avenue. The vehicle hit Perez and fled the scene. Perez was immediately pronounced dead by the officials.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
