According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported in Los Angeles. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the pedestrian accident.

Authorities stated that the collision occurred at 6161 West Pico Boulevard. A black Hyundai Sedan jumped the curb onto a sidewalk. As a result of this, the car struck three pedestrians and subsequently crashed into a Chase Bank building.

The three pedestrians were identified as a 48-year-old female, a 51-year-old male and a 19-year-old male. The 51-year-old male was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other two pedestrians were reported to be stable.

The cause of the wreck is yet to be determined. The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
