According to the California Highway Patrol, a 51-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Friday.
Approximately at 6:30 p.m., a 60-year-old man driving his pickup truck eastbound at a high speed on Lincoln Avenue, Berkeley Street, struck a 51-year-old man. The man was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The officials have not disclosed any details regarding the vehicle involved.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
