According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Santa Cruz on Saturday. The crash happened on 30th Avenue west Portola Drive at around 9:30 a.m.
According to the investigators, a Ford and an unknown parked Volkswagen were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the driver of the Ford was backing up his vehicle and struck a parked Volkswagen.
According to the reports, a 51-year-old man suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Santa Cruz Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
