The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office had previously reported a fatal multi-vehicle crash in Kerman that killed a 51-year-old mother on Tuesday.
A 21-year-old travelling east on Manning Avenue with his 52-year-old mother was hit by a truck at the intersection of Manning Avenue and Mcmullin Grade when failed to halt at the stop sign.
The mother was killed at the scene, said CHP. Deputies have since identified the mother as Juliana Cuevas Cortes from Kerman and the driver of the vehicle as 21-year-old Francisco Cuevas.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the fatal crash. There are no further details available at the moment.
