The Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the victim who was killed in a motor vehicle crash in Fresno County on Tuesday. The accident occurred on Madison Avenue at around 8:00 p.m.
51-year-old Jose Vasquez Romero was driving his truck westbound on Madison Avenue. He was struck by his truck when he accidentally put the vehicle in reverse instead of parking. The force of the collision caused him to be fatally injured and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
