In a tragic incident on Saturday night in Port Arthur, a one-car crash claimed the life of a 51-year-old driver. Port Arthur Police responded to the scene on Lake Arthur Drive around 1 a.m.
They discovered a white Ford pickup truck that had left the roadway, as reported by Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso. The driver was ejected from the vehicle due to the force of the collision. The Justice of the Peace, Joseph Guillory, pronounced him dead at the scene, as he was fatally injured.
The identity of the man is not yet known at this time. In response to the fatality, Judge Guillory has ordered an autopsy to further investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash. The authorities are working to understand the details of this fatal motor vehicle accident.
