51-Year-Old Angelica Arriazola Garcia Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Goliad County (Goliad County, TX)

Tragedy struck on U.S. Highway 59 in Goliad County as a 51-year-old Goliad woman, identified as Angelica Arriazola Garcia, lost her life in a multi-vehicle accident on Thursday morning. 

According to Texas Department of Public Safety Spokesperson Ruben San Miguel, Garcia drove a white Chevrolet Malibu southbound on Farm-to-Market Road 1726. At the same time, a silver Chevrolet Silverado 2500 towing a trailer was travelling south on U.S. Highway 59. The two vehicles crashed into each other. 

Despite wearing a seat belt, Garcia was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck, treated at the scene, did not sustain major injuries. The fatal crash, which occurred around 11:30 a.m., is under investigation by DPS.
