The Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the victims of the motor vehicle crash that took place in Fresno on Monday. 50-year-old Rogelio and 20-year-old Yessenia Avila were reported to have died in the crash.
At around 7:45 a.m., at Chestnut and Annadale avenues, Rogelio and Yessina’s truck was pinned under a big rig. As a result of this crash, both of them were fatally injured and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The officials have not disclosed any details regarding the driver of the big rig. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
