On early Monday, 50-year-old Patrick O’Neil injured following a DUI crash, just south of Belfair on SR 3.
As per the initial information, 22-year-old Gabriel Boyd of Port Orchard was traveling north of State Route 3 at JRS Hideway when he went over the center line and crashed into a vehicle going in the opposite direction. 50-year-old Patrick O’Neil, of Seabeck, suffered injuries due to the crash.
According to the officials, Boyd drove away from the scene but was found by law enforcement shortly after. Boyd was also believed to be under the influence. Officers charged him with DUI and vehicular assault. Boyd also suffered injuries as a result of the accident.
An investigation continues.
