A tragic fatal crash claimed the life of a man from Licking, Missouri, occurring three miles north of Raymondville in Texas County at 9:30 p.m. on Friday. Michael W. Naylor, aged 50, was involved in the incident, as per the crash report.
Naylor attempted to navigate a turn on Missouri State Highway 137 when his 1995 Dodge Laramie veered off the road. Despite efforts to regain control, the truck went airborne, subsequently overturning onto the right side of the roadway and ejecting Naylor from the vehicle.
Sadly, Naylor was pronounced dead in the motor vehicle accident at 10:25 p.m. by the Texas County Coroner, with next of kin notified. The Texas County Sheriff’s Department and Raymondville Fire Department aided the Missouri State Highway Patrol in response.
