50-Year-Old Man Killed In A Hit-And-Run Accident In Houston (Houston, TX)

The Vehicular Crimes Division of the Houston Police Department has reported a hit-and-run accident in Houston on March 15. The crash occurred at 12000 Greenspoint Drive around 10:15 p.m.

According to the authorities, the victim believed to be a male around 50 years old, was struck by an unknown vehicle while crossing the road. The northbound vehicle that struck him fled the scene without stopping to render aid. The victim was transported to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest by Houston Fire Department paramedics where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on March 17.

Police officials report that the man was not in a crosswalk at the time of the incident. Witnesses claimed to have seen a silver SUV leaving the area shortly after the crash. The victim’s identity is yet to be confirmed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
