In a tragic pedestrian accident in Odessa, Texas, 50-year-old Bracia Paige lost her life in a car-pedestrian crash at the intersection of 8th St. and Moody Ave. The City of Odessa identified Paige as the victim.
According to the officials, she was attempting to cross the roadway outside of a crosswalk when she was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado. The fatal incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Sadly, Paige was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene, and the next of kin has been notified. An ongoing investigation is in progress to determine the details surrounding the fatal crash. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
