Las Vegas authorities state that a fatal motor vehicle accident took place on the Las Vegas Strip when one car collided with another. The driver of the other vehicle, 50-Year-Old Bisheba Gaines, was killed.
The speed limit in the area is 30 mph, and the driver of the offending vehicle, 38-year-old Jamara Williams, was going 78 mph before the accident on Thursday morning, police said.
The records show that Williams faces charges of DUI resulting in death, substantial bodily harm, and two counts of reckless driving. Williams was on probation for a prior felony charge, and hence bail was not set in the case.
