Four students and a school bus driver suffered injuries following a traffic collision Thursday evening in Spring.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 5:15 PM. The early reports showed that a Bus Number 324 from Spring Independent School District and a Metro bus were involved in the collision. The accident happened while the students were going back to home. On arrival, emergency crews shifted four students and a school bus driver to Houston Northwest Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
According to the school authorities, 14 other students in the bus received minor injuries but were picked up at the scene by their parents. The condition of the Metro bus operator is unknown at this time. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. No other information has been provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
