Five people, including 3 children were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision in west Phoenix crash on Wednesday morning.

As per the initial information, the traffic accident took place near 75th Avenue and Indian School Road. The early reports showed that two vehicles crashed into each other at the west Phoenix intersection at about 8 a.m. on Nov. 3. Seven people in total were involved in the accident, and firefighters had to extricate one person from a vehicle.

Five people were taken to the hospital, including 29-year-old and 33-year-old woman who sustained critical injuries. A 6-year-old boy, an 11-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl also had injuries, but are in stable condition. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
