On Wednesday night, five people were injured after a single-vehicle rollover accident on Hillcrest Drive near Ventu Park Road.
As per the initial information, the solo-vehicle crash took place at about 10:10 p.m. along Hillcrest Drive, just east of Ventu Park Road. The preliminary reports showed that a sedan crashed and flipped over for reasons that are yet to be known.
On arrival, medics took five occupants of the sedan to a hospital for treatment of their injuries. The officials shut down Hillcrest Drive in both directions as crews worked at the scene. It is unclear if drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident.
The incident remains under investigation.
