5 Children, 2 Adults Injured In A Multi-Vehicle Crash In Springfield (Springfield, TN)

The Tennessee Highway Patrol reported a multi-vehicle accident in Springfield on Tuesday night. 

The officials stated that three vehicles were involved in the crash that happened on Highway 76 near Herbert Shannon Road. 

The officials reported that one of the vehicles had flipped and slid down the embankment. 

The officials confirmed that 5 children, a 17-year-old boy, a 16-year-old boy, an 11-year-old girl, a 9-year-old girl, and a 3-year-old boy, and two adults, a 43-year-old man, and a 33-year-old man were injured in the crash. 

The officials are yet to identify the victims. 

The crash was responded by White House Volunteer Fire, Robertson County EMS, Robertson County Sheriff’s Department and the THP. 

Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
