The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a multi-vehicle accident in Midland County on Sunday evening. The accident occurred at the intersection of SH 158 and S. County Road 1140, leaving one person dead.
At approximately 7:15 p.m., a 2005 Ford Escape driven by 49-year-old Robin Lynn Vance Greer of Odessa was heading northbound on SCR 1140. Simultaneously, a 2018 International truck with a trailer, operated by 68-year-old Carl Lee Tucker from Bangs, Texas, was travelling eastbound in the outside lane of SH 158. Greer ran a stop sign which caused his vehicle to collide with the second one.
Regrettably, Greer was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the circumstances surrounding this fatal crash.
