According to the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, a fatal crash was reported on Tuesday morning in Tarrant County. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.

Authorities stated that the collision occurred near the 7700 block of Nine Mile Bridge Road.

A Chevrolet SUV hit a utility pole and landed upside down.

A 52-year-old female passenger who was inside managed to escape from the vehicle. The 49-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. Their identities have not been reported at this time. 

Other details pertaining to the accident remain unknown. The cause of the wreck is yet to be determined. The crash continues to be investigated by the TCSO.
