According to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, a fatal crash was reported on Saturday night in Shreveport.
Officials confirmed that a 49-year-old man died due to the hit and run accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred in the 200 block of Mayo Road.
The deceased victim was identified as Jessie Jackson Scott.
Scott was driving his bike westbound when he was hit by a black Kia Forte that later sped away.
He died at the scene of the accident.
24-Year-Old Victoria Woodfork turned herself in to the sheriff’s office and admitted to have committed the accident.
Woodfork was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on a charge of hit-and-run driving.
