48-year-old man dead after a hit-and-run crash on Highway 99 (Lynnwood, WA)

On Saturday, a 48-year-old man, from Alpine, lost his life following an auto-pedestrian collision on Highway 99.

As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run crash took place at the intersection of Highway 99 and State Route 525 in unincorporated Lynnwood at about 6:30 p.m. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit a male pedestrian for reasons that are yet to be known.

The driver fled the scene after hitting the man. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.

The incident remains under active review.
