According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident killed two people on Saturday. The officials have identified the victims to be 48-year-old Justin Brasiel and 45-year-old Nikole Brasiel.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 108 and South Washington Street. A motorcyclist failed to halt at the red light, eventually ramming into another vehicle. Both the motorcyclist and the passenger were fatally injured and were pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
