According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Thursday in San Martin. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred at the intersection of Monterey Highway and Highland Avenue. The driver of a Ford F-150 ran a red light and crashed into a Kia Forte.
The driver of the Kia was identified as 48-year-old Eduardo Ceniceros. Ceniceros was transported to Santa Clara Valley Medical Centre where she was later pronounced dead.
Other insights pertaining to the collision are yet to be released. The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
