According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Ventura County on Friday. The crash happened on Highway 126 near Spalding Drive at around 12 p.m.
According to the reports, a Dodge Durango and a Honda Civic were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the Dodge driver traveling eastbound spun out and collided with a Honda Civic.
A 48-year-old Delia Price was identified as a Civic driver who suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Some portions of Highway 126 near Spalding Drive are blocked for further investigation.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. The fatal crash continues to be investigated by the Ventura County Police.
