The California Highway Patrol reported a multi-vehicle crash that killed a 48-year-old man in East Bay. Later authorities identified the victim as Damio Hunter from Richmond.
Damio Hunter riding a Suzuki motorcycle was struck by a Ford F-150 pickup truck on San Pablo Dam Road, east of El Sobrante. Hunter was ejected from the motorcycle and killed at the scene. The driver of the truck endured minor injuries.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated.
